Sustainability Solutions to Share with Linchpins # 59

I’m sharing “million dollar” creative sustainability ideas.

You can have them for free.

Be a Linchpin.  Develop something: ship, ship, ship!

Minimized packaging:

If DVDs, CDs, and video games get pushed downstream to the used-games store, they often lose their big plastic boxes.  Why did we need them anyway?

Primarily we needed something bigger than someone’s pocket.

Where’s the Linchpin opportunity?

Why not seal these products in packages embedded with seeds, and encourage people to toss them out their car windows to make the world a prettier place?

Simple.  Beautiful.  Elegant.  Smart-Packaging.  Sustainable!

  • It’s all horizontal (and books went first)
With enough top-down energy, it feels like the creator of an idea can broadcast it, anytime and anywhere. That enough hype/promo/media/leverage ought to allow a major publisher or network or candidate to bend the culture simply by yelling. If you follow this road, you’re going to be sorely disappointed. For 500 years, this hasn’t been […]
